East Vancouver Front Yard Redesign

The flagstone seating area is the centerpiece of this front yard redesign. In-between the flagstones are a variety of creeping groundcovers, planted in groups to create a mosaic of colours and textures. The seating area is surrounded by low growing grasses and wildflowers which is tucked in behind a semi-formal flowerbed with a mix of native and non-native shrubs, grasses and forbs. Across the sidewalk, we removed all the existing turfgrass and replaced it with a vibrant mix of native wildflowers and grasses. To allow access to the street, we installed flagstone paths that subtly wind through the boulevard meadow.

“We recently hired Keegan to design and landscape three separate areas on our property, including lawn to meadow conversions. We are so thrilled with the result. Keegan is very skilled, knowledgable and passionate about his work. He takes great care and time to consider the placement of everything and provides detailed updates along the way. He's very professional, and also very kind, and we are so happy with how things turned out. He's gone over and above and it really shows - our gardens are looking gorgeous and we have no doubt they will continue to as they become more established. Thank you SO much, Keegan, for all the time and care you gave to our projects. We can't thank you enough.”
