Things to know
Sunlight requirements: Full sun
Bloom time: Spring to late summer
Planting instructions: Direct sow seeds onto the surface of weed-free, well-draining soil. Seeds can additionally be raked into the soil to protect the seeds from birds.
When to sow: Early spring to early summer

Growing:
For best results, keep the seeded area moist until plants are established. While these species are drought-tolerant, supplemental watering may be needed during extended periods of drought.

Seeds can be started in early spring but for more consistent blooms throughout the growing season, you can stagger your sowing every few weeks until early summer.
