Things to know


Sunlight requirements: Full sun

Bloom time: Spring to late fall

Planting instructions: Direct sow seeds onto the surface of weed-free, well-draining soil. Seeds can additionally be lightly raked into the soil to protect the seeds from birds. Keep soil evenly moist

When to sow: Fall to early spring

Stratification requirements: Some species require stratification

Perennial wildflower species (30%):

Western Yarrow, Woolly Sunflower, Nodding Onion, Showy Fleabane, Heal All, Lewis Flax, Western Blue-Eyed Grass, Wild Blue Iris

Annual wildflower species (25%):

Globe Gilia, Diamond Clarkia, Baby Blue Eyes, Douglas Meadowfoam

Grasses (45%):

Blue Grama, Roemer’s Fescue, Native Red Fescue, Little Bluestem
